Who we are

What we do
The Partnership for a Heart-Healthy, Stroke-Free Massachusetts is committed to changing physical and social environments, public policies, and healthcare systems to reduce risk for heart disease and stroke.
How we do it
The Partnership for a Heart-Healthy, Stroke-Free Massachusetts accomplishes its mission by:
- connecting the work of local providers and organizations to reduce duplication and identify gaps
- facilitating the sharing of best and promising practices
- improving access to education on aspects of heart disease and stroke
- advocating for positive policy and systems change
- synthesizing and disseminating relevant information
- working to eliminate health disparities
- identifying and connecting local, state, and national resources
The Partnership publishes the Statewide Plan, which contains seven goals and Lead Partners' on-going objectives toward those goals, and an annual Progress Report of the Partners' accomplishments.
Committees get the Partnership's work done with support from the Coordinator. Members and representatives of Partner organizations are welcome to participate in most of the committees - members of the Executive Committee must be elected, and the Operations and Finance Committee is limited to Executive Committee members.
